AUSSIE GOLD RUSH CONTINUES ON PENULTIMATE DAY
- Australia took away a medal of each colour on the first day of Para Canoe finals with Curtis McGrath leading the charge with his fourth Paralympic Gold.
- James Turner was named a Closing Ceremony flag bearer after winning his second Gold medal in Paris.
- Two Silver medals for Australia on the final night of swimming with the 4x100m Freestyle Relay (34 points) going under the old World Record.

AUSSIES IN ACTION - DAY 10
Para Canoe
- Curtis McGrath has claimed a third straight KL2 Kayak Gold medal, overpowering his opposition in the second half of the race to take home his fourth Paralympic title.
- Dylan Littlehayles missed out on a medal in Tokyo by just 0.012s but wasn't to be denied in Paris, paddling to Silver in the KL3 Kayak Single Final.
- Susan Seipel had to come through the semis to make the VL2 Va'a Final but backed up less than two hours later to take Bronze for her third Paralympic medal.
Para Swimming
- Col Pearse was fastest qualifier for the Men's SM10 Individual Medley Final and took home Silver medal in personal best time behind Italy's Stefano Raimondi who won his fourth Gold medal of the Games.
- Rowan Crothers put in an amazing final leg to go from fifth to a Silver medal for Australia in the Mixed 4x100m Freestyle Relay (34 points) in the final event at La Defense Arena.
Para Athletics
- 400m Gold medallist James Turner was in fifth place halfway through the Men's T36 100m Final but powered home to outlast his opponents in a photo finish to take top spot on the podium for the second time in Paris.
- Sprint specialist Rheed McCracken placed himself in perfect position on the first lap of the Men's T34 800m Final and held on to take Bronze, his sixth Paralympic medal.
- Reece Langdon held strong in the final straight of the T38 1500m Final to take the Bronze medal with Angus Hicksman finishing fourth.
Para Table Tennis
- Lin Ma (Men's Singles MS 9) and Li Na Lai (Women's Singles WS9) sent their semi-finals to five games but could not progress, both taking away Bronze medals for Australia.
INTERNATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS - DAY 10
Wheelchair Tennis
- In a titanic Men's Singles Final, the top two players in the world put on a show at Roland Garros with Japan's Tokito Oda defeating GB's Alfie Hewett in three sets. It was sweet revenge for Oda after having to settle for Silver in the Doubles Final against Hewett and Gordon Reid.
Para Swimming
- Paralympic Gold number 18 for USA's Jessica Long, powering home in the last 20m to win the Women's S8 100m Butterfly and further cement her legendary status.
Para Athletics
- After debuting at Beijing in 2008, Cuba's Omara Durand Elías won the T12 100m and 400m at London 2012 and after winning the 200m overnight, she has taken the 100-200-400 treble at three straight Games and retires with 11 Paralympic Gold medals.
