BASED ON THE BEST-SELLING NOVEL, THE BRAND NEW STAN ORIGINAL SERIES LORD OF THE FLIES IS CURRENTLY IN PRODUCTION.

Stan, Australia’s unrivalled home of original productions, and the BBC have announced production and casting for the brand new four-part Stan Original Series Lord of the Flies, currently filming in Malaysia and adapted from William Golding’s novel of the same name.

Lord Of The Flies is the story of a group of young schoolchildren who find themselves stranded on a tropical island with no adults, following a deadly plane crash. In an attempt to remain civil, the boys organise themselves, led by Ralph and supported by the group’s intellectual, Piggy. But Jack, who is in charge of signal fire duty, is more interested in hunting and vying for leadership and soon begins to draw other boys away from the order of the group and, ultimately, from hope to tragedy. The series is composed by Academy Award®-winner Hans Zimmer (Dune, Planet Earth, The Lion King and The Tattooist of Auschwitz).

The Stan Original Series Lord Of The Flies is currently in production.

Nightsleeper is a real-time thriller about the hacking of a sleeper train travelling from Glasgow to London, and a government agency’s frantic efforts to intervene in the rapidly-escalating events onboard. Can two people who’ve never met, one on the train and one not, work together to save the lives of its disparate group of passengers as the Heart of Britain overnight service hurtles towards what might quite literally be its final destination?

The brand new series Nightsleeper premieres September 15, only on Stan.
