September 19, 2024 - The Wallabies will be looking to end the All Blacks stranglehold over the Bledisloe Cup when another chapter of rugby's greatest rivalry unfolds with Game 1 this Saturday, September 21 from 3:00pm AEST, where all the action will be ad-free, live and on demand in 4K UHD on Stan Sport.

A huge crowd will be on hand at Accor Stadium in Sydney this Saturday, willing the Wallabies across the line in the crucial first Test to claim back the cup after a 22-year period of dominance by the Kiwis.

The Wallabies will welcome back Queensland pair Fraser McReight and Hunter Paisami, with the duo returning to the starting side after recovering from injury. Western Force recruit Brandon Paenga-Amosa will also pull on the gold jersey for the first time since 2021 after returning to Australian Rugby from France earlier this year.

In some extra incentive for the team on the big day, veteran Wallaby prop James Slipper will run out for his 140th Test match, making him the most capped Wallaby of all time, pushing him past Wallabies legend George Gregan. Slipper earlier this year also became the most capped prop in international Test rugby history.

For the All Blacks, the big team news is that new coach Scott Robertson has recalled star Beauden Barrett to the starting lineup, after having been in and out of the run-on side in Robertson's first year at the helm.

The veteran's return sees Will Jordan revert to the right wing while Caleb Clarke gets a start on the left wing after recovering from a back injury.

Coverage of the match will be hosted by Michael Atkinson and Nick McArdle alongside Sonny Bill WilliamsAllana FergusonJustin Harrison and Michael Hooper, with Tim HoranMorgan TurinuiAndrew Mehrtens and Sean Maloney leading the commentary.

Viewers on Stan Sport can also access an exclusive Spidercam stream offering a unique perspective of the action, in addition to a Player Cam stream, which will follow a superstar decided by a Stan Sport fan vote on social media.

With the Bledisloe Cup Tests forming part of The Rugby Championship, the All Blacks will be hunting two big victories to stay in the race for the title.

Series leaders South Africa, the only unbeaten side, will face Argentina in the first of two Tests this week as they look to wrap up the tournament. Salmaan Moerat will captain a very different Springboks side to the one that scraped by the Kiwis two weeks ago, with ten changes in the side.

They face a gallant Argentinian side this Sunday morning from 6:50am AEST, exclusively on Stan Sport. Los Pumas are still celebrating after a big win over the Aussies in their last match, and will take confidence from that as they take on the world champions.

Watch every match from the The Rugby Championship and Bledisloe Cup ad-free, live & on demand with Wallabies at home in 4K on the Home of Rugby, Stan Sport.

The Bledisloe Cup will also be available on Channel 9 from 3:15pm AEST.
