This marks the first game for the Wallabies under new head coach Joe Schmidt who has unveiled a fresh side to face Wales with seven debutants led by Liam Wright, who was announced as captain yesterday.

The Welsh haven't won in Australia since 1969, but outclassed the Wallabies at Rugby World Cup 2023 where they ran away as 40-6 winners, knocking the men in gold out in the group stage.

Wallabies v Wales is the second game of an epic double header in Sydney, and follows the Wallaroos v Fijiana clash from 4:30pm AEST. All the action from both matches will be streaming ad-free, live and on demand in 4K Ultra HD on Stan Sport.

Coverage of the double header will be hosted by Michael Atkinson and Nick McArdle, alongside experts Sonny Bill Williams, Allana Ferguson, ex Wallaroo Emily Chancellor and Wallabies greats Tim Horan, Morgan Turinui and Justin Harrison.

Speaking for the first time since retiring from Australian rugby this week, Michael Hooper will also offer his insights throughout the coverage.

Olympics-bound Australian women's rugby sevens stars Sharni Smale and Charlotte Caslick will also join for the Wallaroos and Wallabies half-time breaks.

Additionally, a dedicated Spidercam feed will be exclusive to Stan Sport for viewers to analyse the game from a whole new perspective.
